Support for the Nervous System

The fast-paced demands of our busy schedules tend to prioritize productivity and leave little room for rest. Many of us find ourselves trapped within an overactive sympathetic nervous system, the network of nerves responsible for our ‘fight or flight’ response, and struggle to slow down and experience a calmer state of being that arises due to our parasympathetic nervous system, or ‘rest and digest’ response.

What should be a subconscious balancing act between these two systems in our body then requires a conscious effort to maintain a healthy equilibrium. Mind-body practices, tools and techniques such as Access Consciousness®, Breathwork, Meditation and Sound Healing are intended to support the conscious stimulation of the parasympathetic nervous system. Exposing and educating employees to these healing modalities will equip and empower them with the necessary tools to effectively manage periods of pressure and support their overall health and wellbeing, in and out of the office.

We offer both individual and group corporate wellness sessions and workshops to introduce your team to a range of techniques, exercises and practices, so that everyone can find what works best for them.

The modalities we draw from for our sessions include...

 
  • The Access Bars® technique targets 32 points on your head with gentle, hands-on touch to create more space for ease in the mind and body.

    This technique is designed to feel relaxing and peaceful and is ideal for those who wish to ease stress, anxiety or burnout.

  • The Access Body Processes technique applies gentle, hands-on touch to processes across the entire body to stimulate your body’s capacity to heal.

    This technique is designed to feel deeply connected and is ideal for those who wish to change the way they relate to their body.

  • The Access Energetic Facelift™ technique applies gentle, hands-on touch to the face, head, chest and body to refresh, restore and rejuvenate the body’s cells.

    This technique is designed to feel regenerative and is ideal for those who wish to release limiting, self-critical thoughts and judgements about their appearance.

  • Breathwork is a series of breathing exercises and techniques, like box, diaphragmatic and alternate nostril, which involve the conscious control of breath, both inhale and exhale, for a specific period of time.

    These exercises and techniques are designed to feel freeing and are ideal for those who wish to release negative thoughts, emotions and trauma from the body for greater emotional balance.

  • Meditation is a mindful practice that involves bringing greater awareness and attention to and acceptance of thoughts, emotions and sensations in the present moment.

    This practice is designed to feel focused and is ideal for those who wish to create mental space and promote a clear and calm mind.

  • Sound healing is a sensory experience that uses voice and instrument to ‘bathe’ you in sound vibration.

    This experience is designed to feel unique to each person and is ideal for those who wish to experience the effects of vibrational resonance in the mind, body and soul.

If you follow a hybrid work model, employees can attend either in-person, from the office, or virtually, from home, to maximize access. Meet Yaritzi Jiménez

Founder + Holistic Health Coach

I’m a multi-passionate woman who loves to learn about anything and everything, with a special interest in health, well-being and personal growth. I connect with nature, speak 3 languages (English, Spanish and French) and have two beautiful boys who teach me about patience, tolerance and love.

I became an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach from the IIN and a yoga nidra meditation instructor and Access Bars® Facilitator after spending 15 years in the corporate world. I always felt that my ways of living didn’t align with my career path but I didn’t know where or how to make a change.

After a combination of life events and inner growth, I began to accept what made me different and realized that dimming to fit in was no longer serving me.

As I courageously shine my inner light, my goal is to help people experience inner peace, embody self-love and find their purpose so that they can contribute to a more loving, compassionate world.

I’m an energetic man who loves anything related to spirituality, health and sports. I have always dreamed of living in nature, by the ocean, with my family. 

Like Yaritzi, I spent most of my career in the corporate world; it was the only path that I thought was available to me. I was disconnected from myself without exactly knowing it, like a fish out of water.

I was always waiting for my next vacation to feel like myself again. Yaxkin was a response to forming a greater connection with my self and the universe. I realized that I want to create a life that I do not want to escape from. 

As I continue my personal growth journey, my goal is to practice what I preach and help people create a life of enjoyment that will forever feel like an incredible summer vacation.
